On September 25, 2024, the employees of Africa Global Logistics (AGL) subsidiaries in Côte d’Ivoire, namely: AGL Côte d’Ivoire, Abidjan Terminal, Côte d’Ivoire Terminal, SITARAIL, ASCENS SERVICES and CARENA participated in the first edition of the AGL Group’s Solidarity Day called, “A’Solidarity Day”.

This annual event aims to bring together the 23,000 employees of the AGL Group around solidarity initiatives in the education sector, in order to materialize the company’s commitment to the well-being of young people and support the sustainable development of Africa.

In Côte d’Ivoire, AGL workers participated in the renovation of the playground and canteen of the primary school of SOS Children’s Village, located in Abidjan in the commune of Abobo.

Through this commitment action within this school of 300 students, AGL and its subsidiaries in Côte d’Ivoire have contributed to creating a safe and stimulating space where students can engage in physical and recreational activities in an appropriate environment. This renovated space will promote not only the motor development of the learners, but also their social interactions, creativity and ability to work in groups.

In addition to the solidarity initiative, the workers dressed in the official “Solidarity Day” T-shirt took part in various sports activities within the various AGL subsidiaries in Côte d’Ivoire.
