AGL (Africa Global Logistics), Africa's leading multimodal logistics operator, officially presented its activities to the Nigerien public on Friday, February 9, 2024, during a ceremony held at the NOOM Niamey Hotel. More than 150 people, including representatives of public institutions, administrative authorities, partners, and AGL customers, gathered for the occasion.


During the event, Noel KELEMBHO, Managing Director of AGL Niger, unveiled the vision and ambitions of the company, which was formed following the sale of the subsidiaries of the former Bolloré Africa Logistics to the Italian-Swiss MSC Group. Now affiliated with the MSC Group, the world's leading shipping company, AGL is committed to being at the heart of Africa's transformation thanks to its century-old expertise and its network of more than 23,000 employees in 49 African countries, Haiti, and Timor.


With its expertise, AGL offers all its African and international customers comprehensive, customized, and innovative logistics solutions tailored to the specific needs of each sector of activity.

 

 

In Niger, AGL employs nearly 100 people through two subsidiaries: Niger Terminal, operator of the container and bulk terminal at the Niamey dry port, and AGL Niger, a specialist in multimodal transport and customized logistics. These two entities provide high-quality, local services to their customers, handling the handling, transit, weighing, storage, stuffing, and unloading of goods, with the support of an ecosystem of local subcontractors and contractors.
