Abidjan Terminal, a subsidiary of the Africa Global Logistics (AGL) group and operator of the 1st container terminal of the port of Abidjan, proceeded on October 10, 2024, at the Abidjan Palace of Culture, to the decoration of 70 of its agents, who received the Medal of Honor for Labor, in the presence of the Minister of Employment and Social Protection,  Me Adama Kamara.  

 

The 70 medalists are divided into 4 main categories, namely: 04 “Grand Gold” medallists, 02 “Gold” medallists, 38 “Vermeil” medalists and 26 medalists in the “Silver” category. These distinctions reward the women and men of the company who have at least 15 years of seniority and who have, over the years, distinguished themselves by the quality of their work, their loyalty, and their loyalty to the service of the company.  

 

Through this event, the port operator intends to show its gratitude to its employees for their years of commitment and professionalism which have enabled Abidjan Terminal to develop throughout its 20 years of existence. 

 

 

The honored agents have contributed, thanks to their daily dedication, to making Abidjan Terminal a leading logistics operator in the service of the influence of the Abidjan port platform and a key player in the dynamism of the Ivorian economy. Their expertise and involvement have enabled this infrastructure to offer its customers quality services, in accordance with international standards, thus making Abidjan an essential hub for regional and international trade.

 

This celebration of the merit of its employees consecrates Abidjan Terminal’s commitment to invest in the well-being of its staff, key to its success on the one hand, and on the other hand to support the growth of commercial activities in the West African sub-region.
