AGL Senegal, a subsidiary of the Africa Global Logistics (AGL) group and Official Partner of the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games (YOG), which open on October 31, 2026, has launched its “AGL Moving Tour Senegal 2026” caravan at an official ceremony held at the Museum of Black Civilizations.

As Official Partner of the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games, AGL Senegal is proud to serve Senegalese youth by making these Games a celebration that reaches beyond the stadiums. With the AGL Moving Tour, we are going out to meet young people to help them find their direction, push their limits, and dare to start their own ventures, particularly in transport and logistics, a sector with a bright future for Senegal and for the continent. And because a major event should leave a lasting mark, we are pairing it with concrete solidarity initiatives for the benefit of communities. The values of sport and those of AGL go hand in hand: solidarity, humility, agility, and entrepreneurial spirit. These are the values we want to share with young people throughout this caravan.

After Morocco, during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), and Burkina Faso in April 2026, the AGL Moving Tour is now coming to Senegal, in the heart of the Dakar 2026 YOG host sites. From October 27 to November 13, the caravan will meet young people in Dakar, Diamniadio, and Saly. Its aim is to guide young people in their career choices and let them discover the opportunities offered by transport and logistics careers. At every stop, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., young people can take part in activities, challenges, and quizzes, and receive academic and career guidance.

Beyond entertainment, AGL is taking action for communities. The AGL Moving Tour will also come with solidarity initiatives: a donation of sports equipment, the renovation of the handball court at Cheikh Anta Diop University (UCAD), and a solidarity ticketing program giving 1,000 young people the chance to experience the Dakar 2026 YOG.

Highlights of the tour include:
•    November 4 – Place du Souvenir (Corniche, Dakar): “Entrepreneurship in Sport” panel, donation of sports equipment to the Senegalese National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSS), and Fit Challenge
•    November 5 – Place du Souvenir (Corniche, Dakar): “Building Your Career in Transport and Logistics” panel and the Logistics Olympiads, a competition between AGL’s partner schools
•    November 6 – Place du Souvenir (Corniche, Dakar): Master Class “SMEs: Making Logistics a Growth Driver” and AGL Talk “Entrepreneurship Driven by Values”.

Minister of Youth and Sports Ms. Djirèye Clotilde Coly said: “I welcome this initiative by AGL Senegal, which fully reflects the spirit of the Youth Olympic Games. Guiding, training, and supporting our young people toward employment is a priority. The Government will continue to support every initiative that gives our youth the means to succeed.”

With the AGL Moving Tour, AGL Senegal aims to make the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games a unifying moment for young people and a driver of lasting impact for communities, while guiding tomorrow’s talents toward careers in transport and logistics.
